A MOMENT IN TIME

APRIL 2022

We would ask our friends in incarnation to allow themselves the privilege of accepting themselves exactly as they are, right now, today, in this minute, and onwards.

The way forward in these very difficult times is to accept who you are, without wanting yourself to be different; to think differently; to behave differently.  All the things that make you feel you need to keep striving.  The time of this incessant need to keep striving – to be this, to do that, to want this, or not want that – is over.

The energy for striving has reached the end of its tether.  In our view, it is now the moment to relax back; to fall back, into the armchair of acceptance, of who you are; why you are, and where you are.

It really is time to give yourself a break from feeling that somehow it shouldn’t be quite like this.  Because it absolutely should be like it is now; exactly how it is in this now moment.

Sitting back in acceptance, gives you a momentum to change, a momentum to move forward, without all the striving, without the ‘what ifs’, or wishful thinking.

Today, just sit back and relax, and say:  ‘Okay, here I am. Just the way I am.  And that’s fine with me.’

What a difficult thing it is for human beings to do that.  To accept this unexpected idea that you are absolutely fine, right now, in the here and now.  But if you can allow that feeling, just for a moment,  a huge sense of peaceful warmth can enter your whole body.

It is as though there is moment of warming up to the times you are living in; to the difficulties there are in the world and in your own lives.

And in the relaxation of being just fine in your own world view; in your own skin; in your own environment, there is a kind of smile that floods your whole being.  Striving is not how it is now.

Start from the warmth of peace, and from here you can open out.  In that warmth of peace, you stop being anxious about ‘this and that’ all the time – whether about your own dissatisfactions or about the world in general.

In that moment of peace there is a warmth and a movement.  Begin from this place of unconditional love, for yourself; for the world; for your environment.

And then see what happens.
