A CHILD OF SPIRIT

We would take the opportunity to suggest that today can be the day you change your life into a life of extremely beautiful experience.
Why today? Why today to begin a life of beautiful experience? It is a question of trust. It is a question of trusting the impetus of experiencing something in the imagination. And then perceiving it just out in front of you. And then allowing the whole horizon to fill with beauty in and around you; for you and with you.
Because it is a life of beauty. It truly is a life of beauty. We hear many people saying, “you’ve got to be kidding; there is so little beauty in the world today.” And yet there is beauty – all around you; in you. Up to the very heart of you, there is beauty for you.
It is like a very deep well, that comes deep down from a belief that life has only positive intension. The expectation and wish for every human being on planet earth: a deep wellspring of the joy of beauty.
How often in difficult circumstances does spirit – the beauty of spirit – come through into those who have the least. Sometimes there is still a sense of joyfulness of being in the world. So, for those of you who do not have as difficult circumstances as many others in the world, it behoves you to find that deep wellspring of the joy and beauty of life at this time.
Supposing there was a team of reindeer in front of you and you knew that these reindeer were going to take you on a journey through all the magical, mysterious experiences that reindeer can do for almost every child on the planet. You feel the expectation; you feel that pleasure, and you know this matches a deep wellspring of joy and the beauty of living that resides inside you. The feeling a child feels when it sees the reindeer and hears the bells; and there is a sense of joy in the environment all around and within.
So, in many ways, it is the opportunity to recapture the child. It is after all December and the Christ child is born. And if we were to say, ‘imagine that Christ child’. Yes, He had enormous difficulties, and misunderstandings, and hard knocks. And yet He knew that He was born a child of spirit; a child of joy, and a child of beauty.
Why not now wake up to that child; to the sense that however difficult life can be, deep down you are born a child of spirit. And that is the line you follow. That is the line you want to pursue right now. No matter how hard life feels sometimes, you know for sure that you can follow your own path of beauty and spirit and joy.
