SINGING MY SONG
JANUARY 2025
We suggest to our readers in incarnation that 2025 will be a very surprising year for everyone on planet earth. It will be different in so many ways that become apparent as the months go by.
It will be rocky, still. But there will be opportunity to really know yourself, and to feel differently about it all. A change of heart. A change of mind. A sense of stillness within the continuing muddle, as the world sorts itself out in the extraordinary times we are living in.
We suggest at this time that you meditate on the idea of feeling calm, of feeling content, and perhaps, ‘acting as if’, sometimes. So that you trust you are safe in the swirling world of men and women, as the days and months go by.
And the difference is that you can do this now. You need not be knocked off your perch by external events, either personal or collective. You can stay steady on your perch, imagining yourself like a robin. You can sing your song, loudly, clearly now.
And the meditation is. perhaps, to recognise exactly what song you are singing. How it sounds; what it heralds; what it achieves when you sing your own song, loudly and clearly. What it means firstly to yourself, and then what it means as you realise it is echoing out into the world of men and women, into the environment around you.
And you know; you can feel; you can see how this song is being received by your friends, your family, your neighbours, your district, your environment. It is as though that undercurrent of song, of enjoyment and calm, really is resonating out.
And eventually, at the end of the year maybe, it will have resonated far enough out, for those in authority to change their minds; to double back on their plans and issues. Because in the environment there will be a sense of newness – and strong opposition to some of the more dangerous and unacceptable things that governments and corporates are doing.
So, for this month of January, stay still, meditate – whether that is while walking in the country – or shopping. Stay in meditative mood of quiet, contentment. Not wanting, not striving, not on a militant march towards where you think you want to be, but a quiet movement in the direction that is approaching you.
It is not a campaign but a pilgrimage.
