CHINESE YEAR OF THE ROOSTER
January 2017
Guidelines
‘This moment in time is one of the most important in the lifetime of planet earth. Which suggests that everyone is going through a moment of change, whether or not that appears to be a time of crisis or of joyful unfolding. But, we predict that by the end of this Chinese Year of The Red Rooster no one will feel the same as they do today.
May we suggest that, without thinking about it you drop down suddenly into this morning, and notice there is a real feeling of anxiety. See how the day begins with the sense that there is an underlying anxiety in the world, highlighted by almost everything you touch. Whether you feel panic because the toaster might explode, or because you have just read the news and heard what Donald Trump has proposed in his Executive Orders, or you have thought of a relative and it has made your heart beat a little faster. In other words, whatever your concerns or deliberations, you realise they are tinged with fear.
This anxiety, which is somehow at the base of who you are, is the anxiety of not really knowing what is coming next, or the challenges you are facing in knowing who you are meant to be. Even if the fear is irrational – like the toaster catching fire in front of you – your unease is actually about the future, and where you are going. It is in the air. So just for this moment find that anxiety, and be aware that it has been with you over the last few weeks – and particularly since the US election.
You feel this anxiety, this morning sickness. It feels like confusion, a sense of not being grounded, of not being able to decide things, or get on with things. Nothing seems to fit. But be assured this morning sickness; this anxiety about what’s going to happen, is in fact a morning sickness that heralds Rebirth: a Rebirth for humanity.
Humanity is now going in a different direction. This Rebirth is about turning round and facing the other way. Know that if you turn round – which in itself brings a little anxiety – you are now facing in a different direction.
See the sun on the new horizon. See how this whole new vista is cheerful, it makes you smile. If you walk in that direction it looks so beautiful, and the air feels clear. Facing this new direction you realise that all the anxieties are behind you; they are no longer in your line of sight or on your pathway. You can relax. You can drop down into your body – where before your anxiety had made you feel unsteady and unsure.
If you face in this completely different direction, you are no longer anxious about where you are going. The other direction – where you were immersed in your fears, embroiled in untruth and endless opinions – made you afraid. Here, now, the fears are behind you. You can see where you are going, the light is good, the air is good. There is something to achieve, something to look forward to. Just go for it.
In this ‘about face’ that the earth is undergoing, there is a clean slate, a fresh view, un-muddied water, a reality check. Relax now. The Year of the Rooster is bringing a new cock crow at the dawn of a new morning. The cockerel is crowing and everyone, at some level, can hear the start of a new day. It cheers you. So much so that you want to get up and get on. The Rooster has come round in the nick of time and is calling the morning alive. Don’t be afraid; it’s a good sign, not a bad one.
Gravitational waves are changing the magnetic environment of earth. Stay cool. Stay calm. Sit still. Don’t worry. Make the next weeks and months a really committed moment in time to change your tune’.
